Very nice, tidy, and clean! Staff is super friendly and helpful without being pushy or annoying with recommendations. Have a large variety of books, DVDs, video games, and public computers. Have quiet areas for studying and have a kid friendly section as well. Overall is pretty quiet but not totally silent. Usually some small chatter or children talking. Nothing disruptive tho.nnGreat place to come, browse, and read your books without sitting in complete silence for those that hate that.
The Avon Lake Public Library is one of my happy places. The library staff are knowledgeable, always helpful and friendly. The curbside service as well as Zoom bookclubs offered during the pandemic have been a lifeline for many residents.
Most accommodating in every way. Then take a walk through the Metro Park at the same location, safe parking.
It's one of the cuyahoga county libraries that retains it's vintage charm & character (the puppeteers in action at the children's storytime hour are tactful in holding the kids undivided attention; Elmo would be impressed)nThe dutiful librarians & staff are always on hand to help and to maintain proper library decorum. It has what you're looking for - books.nPS. They've instilled good safety guidelines and procedures for the times we're in.
Amazing library!.. my kids could live there!
