Wow! We have tried to hike here before and found the parking lot filled. I had a day off and was able to park and check it out. A asphalt road makes the hike easy with several unpaved trails branching off of it. Several overlooks of the pond area great you with scenic views and lots of faun and fauna to grab your eye. Near the end you will find a secluded beach to wade in, but swimming is prohibited. At the very end of the trail you will the old NASA water intake building with a view of two lighthouses one left and one right.

This is nice mostly paved trail to the lake. There are a number of small gravel trails. This is a great place for an easy walk. Wheelchair friendly. The bird watching here is great! Also the squirles are very curious. It is a fun place to walk around for a couple hours.

A great place to watch waterfowl and shorebirds. Enjoy a level walk with benches here and there to enjoy nature. One chemical toilet on site along the paved trail.

This place is absolutely gorgeous all of the time and it's a decent distance to walk with so much scenery. One of my favorite places to hike!!

A paved path leads you from one end to the other. There are a few smaller paths that branch off. What makes tiff place charming is the little points of access along the way where you can get closer to the lake or the beaches. Treasures to discover.
