The shortest day... Make the most of it!
The shelter house is a great place for an outdoor party, picnic, or family get together.nnYou do need to make a reservation ahead of time, but lots of space here. There are several picnic tables and two wood-burning fireplaces (one on each end).nnA short trail leads from the shelter house to the covered bridge--great area for hiking, camping, tubing, and more.
Great energy. Love to hike down from here into the river valley.
This is our first time going and we had a great time just walking around. Beautiful place for walks party's camping... we will be coming back this summer.
Great place to hang out with friends and family and eat!
