Extremely loud all hours of the night, no sleep for two days. Cars with bad mufflers driving around all night... it's party central, not a place for traditional, quite family get away. Bathrooms are unusable due to lack of cleaning.

Always a good place to spend quality time with family and friends. Bathrooms are kept clean & tidy as well as the grounds. Bonus..it's free!

Been camping at Campground K now for about 20-years and it's always been my favorite out of all of the ones available.nnIt often seems to be one of the lesser crowded, many available area's to set tent, that are likewise fit for what you're looking for. Some open grounds if you've brought a canopy or want to spread out to play ladder ball, or have additional tents, but also some area's lined by the tree's, and usually water sites available all the same. You can almost always choose to be more within the crowd, or more secluded.nnThe camp ground is mostly very peaceful, great sunsets, and views of the Pond-43, which is a pretty sizable pond with great fishing. There's a nice trail on the opposite side near the center that offers some nice wandering through the woods, though, I'd almost got turned around in there once so I'd navigate carefully and give ample time for daylight hours.nnNight time provides many sounds of nature, great star gazing, and a perfect time to blaze a fire. Wood is mostly always stocked and one of the easier places in all of AEP to get some, though, plan to cut it up a bit to manage fires a bit better.nnI've lost count of how many times I've actually camped here over the last two decades but every time was always memorable.
