I called Ohio Surface Restoration for a quote to refinish my stained bath tub. They responded promptly and were able to give me a rough quote after a few simple questions and a couple pictures. I scheduled an appointment for between 7-7:30am the following week. I called the day before to confirm my appointment and left a message with Diane. I received a call back shortly after and they confirmed everything.nnDiane arrived on time the day of my appointment. She was very friendly and courteous and was able to befriend our normally very protective dog. I was so grateful. I usually end up having to hold him everytime we have a service person in as he gets so worked up.nnAfter showing her the bathroom with our tub, she quickly got to work and stated she might actually be able to clean the stains away saving me the time and money of doing an entire resurfacing. After scrubbing for a couple minutes she asked me to come look. I was astonished that she had actually gotten the stains out! It’s like new! I’m so pleased!nnDiane, thank you so much for the wonderful job with the tub and being so kind to me and my dog. I really appreciate it!nnI’d refer Ohio Surface Restoration to anyone.

We have a white cast iron Kohler bathtub that was in need of some restoration, especially after a bathroom renovation last summer that made it look even more worn, and after the general contractor (Owens Construction) we had hired for the renovation had not properly covered the tub during the renovation project which inflicted even more wear on it.nnI am so glad that we called Ohio Surface Restoration!nnDiane was such a pleasure to deal with. She was punctual and meticulous with prepping the bathroom to keep the area clean and mess free. She was also very responsive in the follow-up for caulking.nnIt took just under four hours for the prepping and application, and the smell was not as strong as I had been concerned about. A few days after the application, the smell had largely disappeared.nnOur bathtub looks wonderful!

Had my bathtub's surface refinished about 1 year ago. Was told the new surface would last 20 some years. Noticed the surface chipping, called and left a message twice (a week apart) and never received a call back.nnEdit: 3 weeks after original post, upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars.nAfter never receiving a call back from OSR, I filed an official complaint through the BBB. At this point, with the help of a BBB associate, we got an email back. After 3 weeks worth of emailing, Diane (from Ohio Surface restoration) refusing to speak to me, and much frustration OSR came out to the house and repaired our tub in 30 minutes. She works fast and did a great job with the repair.nnOverall, OSR does good work, but with the headaches caused by having to follow up/ contact customer support I would advise not doing business with this company.nnSorry this is a long review, thank you for taking time to read.

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, they never showed up and never called me to say anything, I called to ask where they were, no answer and no phone call back
