This is where I go for my embroidery projects, I forget her name but the owner is so great, knowledgeable, and helpful! Every visit is great and this is by far my favorite art shop I've visited so far in the S/SE Seattle area. They have other things too like sewing stuff, classes, knitting, etc but I go for embroidery materials. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Their one year anniversary is coming up soon and I'm looking forward to coming here for years to come
One of the best spots in Renton! Tawnee has created a wonderful space for makers of all kinds, and has kept the shop moving along during a crazy first year. The space is always clean and bright with a fun assortment of unique fabrics and lots of other things to get your creative juices flowing. Everything feels very particularly curated - she has serious pride in this space, and it shows! Always asks about your projects, and a great resource for all crafty knowledge.
This is my go-to fabric store. The fabrics (and notions) are beautifully curated and the owner uses her platform to educate about and elevate makers of color. She literally puts her money where her mouth is. If you have a project you want to try and have no idea where to start, or, like me, can't figure the math out - check out Wyldwood Creative.
I love this shop! I pop in at random for gifts mostly but I’m working on stepping it up and getting crafty! They have tons of items by local makers and so many options for crafters of all ages. The owner of the shop is also really helpful if you have questions about any of the classes they offer etc. stop in and check it out!
This shop is amazing for online orders, the owner is incredibly helpful making selections to get the order just right without having to set foot in the door.
