US Social Security Administration – Phone Service Only

Called and spoke to Rob about name change after marriage. He even took care of my address change. Whole call was less than six minutes, and part of that was listening to the prerecorded message at the beginning. My new husband said these people really knew their stuff, and he was right!

They say they cannot deal with me and simply hang up on me,n.nThe Social Security Administration is telling me I am no longer disabled!nMY SSI check was returned!nWhat is wrong with this SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE AND SYSTEM?nnIt took me a long time to get my Social Security benefits because of an error that Social Security did to me!nnDo they expect to live primarily on only Social Security?nI

Was very apprehensive when I saw the review score for this office and expected the worst. Saw some weird people waiting their turn so those must be the ones that submit poor reviews. Got there before noon waited my turn told the man my request for future benefits letter for my mortgage banker, took a minute to figure out how to word it and then typed it up. No issues, no problems just prompt service. Thank you.

So positive and cooperative.

On the 14th of June, roughly around 2pm me and some fellow co-workers had an appointment to gain social security numbers. After 2 people successfully gained their social security numbers we ran into a slight issue, as one lady on the desk explained that we simply did not have the correct documents, even though two others had be accepted for the numbers. The rest of my co-workers continued to have their appointments some were accepted and some were dismissed, after understanding what documents were missing we contacted our boss and asked if the missing documents could be faxed over, this was rudely dismissed by your staff. Our boss then took the long journey to bring the missing documents so that we could complete the process, however the lady on the desk harshly told our staff that we were still missing documents and that none of our applications would be processed. On top of this we tried to make another appointment to which one of your staff members interrupted my co-worker and explained she would have to get a number even though this staff member was not busy with any other customer, in a sarcastic manner she told my co-worker to have a good day. Overall what should have been a simple process has been made a mess of and I feel this establishment is very unorganised and had a lack of communication between staff members and customers, I am very disappointed!!!
