Sabrina Johnson, PA-C - Dermatology of New Mexico

I wasn't impressed. After I traveled three hours from out of town with a scheduled appointment for an acne cyst excision, I was later told by Sabrina Johnson and her medical assistant they don't do a cyst excision upon the first visit. Even though I had scheduled the appointment for that primary reason! I told them I do not live in the area and traveled 170+ miles to have an acne cyst taken care of. Now my cyst has ruptured on its own nearly 2 days after my "appointment" and is going to leave yet another scar! I absolutely didn't feel like I was being listened to by Sabrina nor her medical assistant. I could have had the cyst removed yet didn't. My previous dermatologist would excise them without scarring me nor without any hesitation! I have a follow-up appointment but considering that I'm now dealing with a bloody and bleeding cyst that is now going to leave an ice pick scar I'm canceling the appointment. I came for a cyst excision not a talking-chat-and-gab-about-acne session. I'm extremely disappointed and will look elsewhere for dermatology care.
