The Merritt Bookstore + Toystore

First time visiting The Merritt book store and I loved it. They had some really unique products and I was overwhelmed by their book selection. Tons of paperbacks and new releases. Tons of social justice/ pop culture gifts too. They do have a parking lot which is amazing. One of the largest independent bookstores I’ve been to. Definitely recommend.

I discovered this small book store on tiktok, the video was so sweet, I immediately bought two books online to support the small business! Websites great, they have a lot of great categories pertaining to what kind of book exactly you might be in the mood for, books about the Vietnam war, ww1, adult graphic novels, books talking about certain social issues, I love it. This looks like the cutest bookstore and I hope the owners are doing well because they should be proud of this awesome, professional and friendly looking business. Also big respect for the lgbtq flag hanging outside, it’s always nice to see. I’m in Texas but I can’t wait to come here in person one day:D
