I'm happy that the building is still being used for educational purpose, even if it's as a high school. The building did not become a loss after all. (KUDOS)nnMy experience at this location is from the early 70's. Although, this came in as my very first educational setting, as I attended then, PS39, for Pre-K and Kindergarten, those thoughts are memorable. I remember Mrs Ortiz, an unusual quietness within the building, and ever more memorable, the roof top playground that we were taken to for recess. Those were definitely different times.nnMuch luck to the older students attending now and in the future. Not only should you stay and finish school, make it as memorable as you may. Pursue innovative and productive lives. Good luck!

I went there in my freshmen year in 2002. We move in the police athletic league. I made alot of friend and we have field activities. I was in honor roll and i graduated in 2006. It's has smaller students and had best teachers and staff. I always hang around the park there too. I miss my friends and people there too. Oh what a good memories.

I went to banana Kelly school back in 2002-2006. Joshua laub was my principal and my great guy. From 2003 to 2004 we was at police athletic league. I made alot of new friend and the teacher and staff was wonderful. In 2005 we went to Ellis island on a boat for us history class and it was the memories I never forget. In 2006 I graduate and this was my best experience and made it to honor roll. Thank you banana Kelly for this wonderful journey and memories. ☺
