Bronx High School For The Visual Arts

I don’t like this high school because ms.smith is the worst guidance councilor

ms.smith is a horrible guidance counselor don't make me feel safe in school and makes me depress the school should fire her. only job to make students happy and change schedule the way that most fit students feelings conformability not make them uncountable. she is a horrible person and school staff that just gives a nice face and attitude to the parents but to the students she is a different person.

I was in 9th grade for 2014-2015, and I'm going to 10th grade 2015-2016. This schools staff and teachers are friendly and what not, but when it comes to being notified on important things they fail terribly at. Today I had to take a Algebra 1 Common Core Regents Exam. My mom was notified several times on what time and place I should be taking it, we even received a note. I went over there to take the test and the school was under construction. I went in anyways to see if the test was still going, I was greeted by construction workers instead and when I asked them where are the teachers they tell me no one is here and there's no school. I left the and called the school at least 5 times and not one answer. We were never notified if the exam was postponed to another date or if it's in a different location. My mom had to call 311 for information but not even they knew where the test was. We are currently waiting for a response from 311.

Even though this school is not perfect, It does it's fair share of being a good school, most teachers do give an effort of giving their students an education, not only that but it is a rather small school, which leads to people getting to know each other more and become friends even, people in this school will always find a group of friends they can feel connected with, etc.

It's my ninth grade yearand I think the school can be better it's okay for now
