This winter was made more enjoyable by the insert purchased and installed from Matchless Stove and Chimney. David Conboy, sold me this unit and every step along the way was exactly as promised. I recommend them highly and can say with confidence that you will be happy if you buy from them. The installation was smooth, easy and professional. My relined chimney provided that extra level of assurance and safety. There are many options to generate heat and enjoy the open flame, with great efficiency.

Had a great experience with Matchless from the get-go. John McArdle was always available, took seriously all my questions and concerns, and was warm, friendly and caring, explaining the process without ever making me feel pressured. A terrific human being and a terrific salesman. He went out of his way to understand the challenges posed by the difficult layout of my home, and the determined and dedicated installers successfully met those challenges with unblinking assurance. What a great group of folks!

Tom of Matchless Stove and Chimney is the best! I have had an ongoing problem of a leak into the attic around the chimney. I have sought help from several chimney companies and a roofing company to try to determine the cause of the problem. All but one of those companies did not go out of their way to find the problem but rather proposed a shot gun approach where they are asking me to spend money on a proposed fix that might not even be the cause of the problem. Only Tom, of Matchless Stove and Chimney in Glenmont, went way out of his way to determine the actual problem so he could do a targeted fix. He even did a water test which he suggested. I asked other companies to do a water test in the past and they would not do it. Tom asked me detailed questions and did a thorough inspection as he sought to uncover the problem. He was very patient in explaining everything to me. His determination to find the problem is unparalleled. Tom is a true professional looking out for the customer, looking out for my interests. Great service in the showroom.....salesman personally came to the house to confirm our selection would work. Scheduled an install and surprisingly, pulled in the install date to our satisfaction. Installers were prompt, courteous, knew the product and professional. Top notch, cant ask for better service.

I love the Kozy Heat Carlton 39 Fireplace I bought from this Business. When it required Warranty work immediately after my Contractor installed it, they offered to come and service free of charge even though it was self installed. Very Satisfied!
