If I could give 0 stars I could, I was transferred to Dr Gerard by my dentist in Bloomfield, I thought since he specializes in oral surgery, this would be a piece of cake. I went to his office about a year ago to get my wisdom tooth pulled out, the staff were great and wait time was very short. As the procedure began, I told him I was feeling pain, he injected me with another dose of anesthesia and waited for it to kick in, as he continued with the extraction, I told him I was still in pain and he gave me a 3rd dose, still didn’t work but he continued anyway. This was one the worst experiences I’ve ever had, I was literally sobbing because of how much pain I was in, I felt every snap, every pull and every single thing. I don’t wish this on anyone!nnI’m only writing this review late because I took out another wisdom tooth today from a different doctor, and I was surprised how painless it was.

Did my wisdom teeth extraction (3) and made me feel really comfortable, allowed me to choose whether to stay awake or sleep throughout. I elected to stay awake and he explained everything really well, everything was very efficient and was virtually painless during the procedure. Would highly recommend him for any tooth extraction.

GREAT surgeon! Removal of wisdom tooth was more complicated than expected. However, Dr Mirkov was very comforting explained everything and went well. He is very pleasant, friendly and gentle. Staff explained insurance costs etc before hand. Would recommend him to anyone.

No one wants to go to an oral surgeon. The feeling of being afraid, is what I experienced. Walking into his office was the best decision I’ve made. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Lori was very informative and she answered all my questions so I knew what the cost was. I always read reviews and honestly, the reviews were on point. He is your oral surgeon! Highly recommend him. You will not regret going to him!

Really eases your anxiety, has great sense of humor, which helps when you are nervous. Very professional and relatively painless. Great dentist/doctor.
