Great welder!!!!nI have an outdoor wood burner stove about 15 years old. Last year it started leaking. The stove was leaking on the ceiling of the fire box. I cut the ceiling out and had a friend tack 2 1/4 inch 20 by 50 steel plates for the new ceiling. I than started calling welding companies to seal it water tight. Nobody would touch it. One company I called recommended Bore welding. I called Bores and he came out the same day and started working on it. The stove has been heating my house for the last 2 weeks and no leaks.

They make a BOA-408 Bore Welder that is a great little machine for MIG welding a perfect spiral weld in holes big or small. The spiral weld is so fast and easy to line bore with no vibration compared to manual welding by hand. The machine is well worth the cost. Many thanks to Erik and Tom.

I only had one problem that needed interaction with the supplier and that was that we ordered a longer arm for the welding attachment but got the standard one. They happily accepted the original one back and sent the longer one with no fuss at all.nnThe machine worked flawlessly the entire time I used it. The set up is fairly quick, especially once you have done it a few times. Set the bar in the center of the holes with the cones, slide the brackets on the bar and fix into position. Play a little with he leveling screws until the alignment bushings slide freely over the bar and in and out of the brackets. Slide out the bar and remove the cones. Put the spherical bushes in the brackets, fit the gearbox and motor. Slide the bar back in place and clamp on the feed screw bushing, fit the cutting tool and start cutting.nnIf you are putting in an over sized o/d bushing then cut to the required diameter and you are done. If using original size bushings then cut until you have all new steel showing then set up the welding head and weld until you have enough steel in place to be able to cut it back out to the original spec.nnEverything comes in an aluminum tool box with either steps and straps welded in place to hold parts on position or precut foam for the parts to fit in.nnNice system, easily transportable and it's easy to see if there are parts missing due to everything having a place.

It is nice to deal with a company that bends over backwards for the customer. Coming in special on weekends for training, they always have inventory on hand and everything is made in the USA...nice company to deal with.
