Complete breakdown here. So I ordered signs a month ago. Originally wasn't a huge deal that I hadn't heard from them, but as time went on I started to wonder what was going on. Called to check in on Thursday August 20th at 10:30 am. Asked how it was going, let them know I was really needing one of the signs before August 29th. No big deal, I didn't mind waiting but it had been a while. Was told that day the signs would be ready that Friday or coming Monday. At that time I asked they please call me and let me know asap when they are finished so we can plan our trip as it's almost an hour drive. No calls, no emails, no communication. I call on Wednesday August 26th 10:50am to ask again about my signs because I still hadn't heard anything. Was told by Tracy that they weren't ready and would not be until Friday or Monday of the next week! I said I was told they would be ready at the latest Monday. She said they weren't done and they would try their best. Well at that time I'd lost faith that would happen and I ordered a new sign from another company after my mom made numerous calls to different places we found a car graphic place in Beatrice that could make us something that would work in the bind I was in. After we got that all sorted and again no contact from Precision I sent an email that afternoon. I basically told them how disappointed I was in their lack of communication, timeframe this was taking, and situation it put me in. Finally get a call after 4pm, remember my initial contact was that morning when I was told they couldn't guarantee they would have them. He made his apologies. I told him the communication level was really awful. Explained how I even had to order something from another place. But that I would honor what I ordered and pick them up despite the mess. He informed me they were ready to be picked up. All of the sudden they were done. Okay, fine. Go to pick them up, they charged me $55.00 more than what we had ever discussed. Their email does state that there is a charge for more than 3 changes which the only change I made was they had put my phone number wrong and one sign my phone number needed added. I had originally planned to order more from them but the original process took so long I had already gotten the other signs I needed from another place because I needed them quickly. I really should have taken that as a sign of things to come, but she had already been working on it I didn't want to change my mind. I'm shocked anybody does business this way. If I treated a customer like this and put them in that kind of a bind you better believe I would make it more than right on the bill. They took $25 off but I was charged $55 I had no clue about so that felt pretty weak. Then gave me 15% off my next order. No thanks, why would I order again after all this? Oh and she fought with me over the timing of the phone calls. I have proof of the timeline and how they waited all day to finally let me know they would have them after all. After I ordered something from some place else, and sent another email post my original call from that morning. Yes you finally called me. I would be really embarrassed to run my business like this, but I was informed my order was small and basically not a priority. Okay, I'll move on then but not before I let other people know how I was treated. *Edited to respond to the comment made. No communication was not made unless I initiated it, but you ignored that fact completely in your response. I was supposed to receive a phone call that Monday, nothing. Tuesday, nothing. Wednesday, told my sign would not be ready. A month is ridiculous. Telling me it wouldn't be ready and not calling back for hours causing me to order a new sign is ridiculous. I am appalled at the behavior. Accept responsibility for your actions, this is really ridiculous that somehow you are trying to pass any blame on me for how you do business. Stop lying about what happened. The sign was fine, the way you do business in shady. Have a great day!
