I hadn't been to the dentist for many years after having a few bad experiences resulting in dental phobia. After a friend recommended Dr. Shamblott, i have to say he has restored my faith and confidence in dentistry. The staff are AMAZING and everyone really cares about your experience, making sure you are comfortable and well informed. I highly recommend Shamblott Family Dentistry to anyone who has avoided the dentist for one reason or another. And because i was so impressed I am actually looking forward to my next dental cleaning!!

I originally decided to visit Shamblott based on ads I heard on AM950 in the past... back in the days where we used to commute to offices.nnThe staff and dentists are all excellent from my experiences, and very good at working with people like myself with deep-seated fears of dentists.nnDr. Henson immediately recognized my needs to ensure I had a pain-free experience. While I don't think I'll ever fully shake my fear of dental work, I feel as confident as I possibly can that my visits here will be pain-free and as comfortable as possible.

Shamblott Family Dentistry likes to shame their patients into getting additional procedures that aren't actually necessary. I went in for a cleaning and was told I needed a root canal but it would not be covered by insurance (even though my insurance clearly stated it would cover 80% of the cost). I was told I needed two root canals, but upon visiting another office I was informed only one was needed. I'm not even stressing about the insurance error; I am more upset about how the dental hygienist staff team repeatedly shamed me out for my dental health and thought it was okay to talk about patients in the common area. This was the least compassionate healthcare facility I have ever been too. There are many other places out there that will do a better job; avoid this place!

I'm writing this review the day after I had a back molar removed - AND I'M NOT IN ANY PAIN! Doc Shamblott ensured I felt no pain during the procedure & set me up afterwards so that I'm back to work no problem the very next day. He's also great at checking in with you during procedure to ensure you are doing all right, for those of you that are too shy to say so.nnHIGHLY RECOMMEND!
