Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had, not even comparable. I have had Thai food at many different places throughout Michigan and some other states, and nothing has come close to Coastal Thai. The pad thai and drunken noodles are my favorite dishes there, but I’m sure you couldn’t go wrong with anything.

I don't know what happened to this place. This used to be the best Thai food around. Don't know if the cooks are different or what, but the past 3 times we ordered takeout it's been terrible. The Pad Thai Curry tastes like straight up lemon every single time. It's so bitter. If you don't order extra sauce, it's dry. Between that and inconsistent hours, we've just given up. It's been a disappointment every single time for at least the past year. It's really too bad, because their food used to be seriously awesome.

I work at a thai restaurant but the owner took a vacation for a week but I wanted thai food so I tried this place and man was it a letdown. I ordered a pad thai because I guessed it was their best seller as it is ours. The sauce wasnt mixed in with the noodles, the noodles were sticky, the sauce itself was more sour than anything else, and even the peanuts looked, tasted, and felt off. I ordered hot(as hot as they offer) and the sour taste still came through much stronger than the spice. I wont advertise on a review for another thai place but there are better restaurants in Wyandotte.

Love the menu, service and prices. Hard to find good Thai noodle dishes anymore. This place has them with good portion sizes.
