I worked with this group of guys at the station on a project and they treated me respectfully and it was a pleasure working with them. I had a few issues and they were really helpful when I needed a hand
I have to say Thank You to the EMTs of the South King Fire and Rescue Fire Depatment and the Fire Captain on 15th Avenue S in Des Moines who have been excellent first responders for my 92 year aunt that lives alone around the corner. They have saved her life several times as she has a bad pace maker. The crew and the fire Captain look out for her and they have a signal set up so that they know she is OK. Paramedic came around 2116 or 9:16pm didn't think I was in pain told them your not in my body so how do you think not in pain. They had nothing to say. Then one Male paramedic said UW Medical Center ER was close another correct him that only the clinic is close not ER. The ER is open. Came right out like demand WERE NOT TAKING YOU TO THE UW MEDICAL CENTER ! Then I said find need send me to Auburn he through I said Harborview look at him strange Then my wife spoke up said ya Auburn like Auburn, CA or Auburn Main or like one Male Paramedic said Auburn, WA so they took me to Auburn Multicare Regional Hospital. But the Experience is bad they need work on there Bedside manner if had give it 1 to 10 give it -15.
I was in a car accident last week the officers,firefighters, an med cars never checked on me an my boyfriend or asked us if we were ok they left the scene without even ignoligin us at all we had to walk to the e.r the next day I had a concussion an chest brushing the officers are trying to give my boyfriend negligent driving when someone hit us in to on coming traffic an caused a 5 car crash our car is totaled an the police are treating as if we are criminals an have done something wrong upon me calling the officer in charge of the case an trying to ask him a question about the case he told me I need to be quiet an let him talk once I told him I wasnt done talking he hung up in my face these officers an sergeants know who the are they do not need to work with people if they can not do there job an protect an serve like there suppose too me an my boyfriend are being treated un fare an like criminals an we won't stand for it
Me and my girlfriend where involed in a really bad accident yesterday South king fire & rescue responded to the scene. Upin them respinding every family but mine was looked they packed up all of there stuff never spoke to us my wife and i were treated with such disrepect. My girlfriend is still crying and upset we almost died and you treated us like we wherenot there when i called the station to ask about it the person in charge got off the phone to eat and never called back he was disrepectful and contiuned to treat us the same way we where the only african Americans involed and the only ones to be treated like that even though someone tried to kill us this was no accident and the investigation will show that and my wife and I will hold you accountable for how we where treated by paramedics, police and fire fighters and i have witnesses to these events
