Quaint roadside shrine built in a barn. Peaceful and serene space. Wonderful place to meditate.

The Pious Union has an outdoor Mass at 10 am on Sundays, and indoor Mass during the week. I've attended events here for many years and I love it..

Love that the Shrine is so close to home. We love to go to Mass there.

A pleasant, faithful, and welcoming country shrine dedicated to St. Joseph in his special patronage toward all the suffering and the dying.nnBesides the barn-like, domestic labor feel of the Shrine, that evokes thoughts of the head of the Holy Family —St. Joseph—, it also has other beautiful holy sites outdoors (like the marian grotto and stations of the cross) that easily put oneself in the hidden life of St. Joseph and the Holy Family of Nazareth.nnThis shrine is run by the religious communities of Servants of Charity (priests) and Daughters of Holy Mary of Providence (religious sisters), both part of the «Guanellian family» (as they were founded by St. Louis Guanella, of whose first class relic—along with Bl. Chiara Bosatta’s—can be venerated there).nnThis shrine complex also hosts the offices and ministry of the Pious Union of St. Joseph, also associated with this Guanellian family.
