One star is one too many. I transferred here years ago, a doctor spoke with me for half an hour and did nothing but take notes about my problems... that was many years ago. The second time I went I was looked at by an assistant that could not write prescriptions and took more notes. I have been seen twice in six years. The doctor that was assigned to me retired, I was transferred to a different doctor that left. I called today and they have no doctors available... I have to find another doctor. Most doctors available barely speak English. Northern Light has taken over and mechanized the health care system. It is like putting a bar code on your forehead and scanning you as you move through the system like a piece of meat. Inhuman treatment.

Waited several months to be able to see a provider closer to my home. Northern Light reassigned my children to a different provider three times in 1.5 years, and when their new provider (who we never met!) moved to a practice in Bangor we got a letter about the importance of continuity of care (lol!) and were told we could only receive services in Bangor, not Orono.nnWhich honestly is fine, because one their medical assistants consistently has dirty fingernails and another's hands shake when they try to vaccinate my kids. Oh, and no hand sanitizer in some of the exam rooms and only my first provider washed their hands when they entered.

When I call in they say to go to walk in care or the er. Didn’t know it was supposed to be hard to see your doctor. PCP gets changed more than I go to the doctors too

Can never get through to that office. Put on hold from 8:00 until noontime. When I finally talked to a nurse today she was talking so loud that I had to hold the phone away from my ear!!! I should not, nor should any other patient be treated rudely. I happen to have anxiety and this conversation really set me off. I think the office manager should be aware of how they are treating their patients. By the way, I have only been with this office a short while and have already been seen by 4 different providers!!! No consistency whatsoever ! Maybe they could use a couple more receptionists??? The ones they have are nice enough, but I think they are overwhelmed!

There are more negatives about this office than there are positives. There have been multiple times when calling numerous times a day, for days in a row, that the phone rings as a busy signal. When it doesnt ring busy, you are left with hold music for sometimes up to 30 minutes or more. I have personally been so frustrated with the phones that I drive to the office to get my message and/or request through to someone. The phone system should have a vm/callback option, or they need to hire more people available to answer. A message through the portal has been siccessful a handful of tines, but usually has a 2-3 day delay in response.nAdditionally, I have had tests or referrals made multiple times that linger in the referral dept for weeks/MONTHS before being sent through. Sometimes, the order or referral would have NEVER got sent thru if I hadnt hounded them about it. Additionally, scans for demylenating disease SHOULD BE ORDERED WITH CONTRAST, not without.... looking for a new doctor, in a different office. Not impressed .
