Arrived 1:45 late. Took 5-10 minutes to clean the chimney. Left a pile of creosote on my back lawn, in my flower garden, and a bunch on my walkway. Then charged me $250. Never again.

I would not recommend hiring this chimney sweep service. I paid $75 to have the chimney sweep spend five minutes inspecting the chimney with a small mirror. His assessment: “I can’t tell you if it is going to smoke or not”. He spent the rest of the time measuring the firebox and writing a detailed proposal for a $4500 wood stove insert that I did not ask for. I spent $75 for an unwanted sales pitch. Again, I don’t recommend.

Bruce was right on time and he was very noledgabal and very professional, he even threw the ball for the dog.

In all my years of hiring professionals, this is a first - writing a review. Why? Because I don't want another individual to a suffer a similar experience. I should have known on contracted date when by 9AM no arrival or phone call to inform me they were running late, instead I had to call to inquire status. The evening before said work was to be done, room was emptied and curtains covered assuming they would protect the floor from damage or debris. The only area they covered was in front of the fireplace exposing a great deal of the hardwood floor which did get scratched and as well as areas of cement grit on the floor. The bricks were cut outside, directly in front of the house with the front door wide open which meant the front hall, front stairs and living room were covered in brick dust. Not to mention the outside which my husband had to ask them to wash off before they left. Needless, to say this left an incredible amount of unnecessary clean-up and work.nIf this was all, I probably would have not written a review, but the frosting on the cake was the mixing of cement in the driveway, spewing cement debris on the house and staining the driveway with spilled cement. I have started the cement clean up which is very time consuming to say the least and am still uncertain as to whether the windows have been damaged by the cement debris.nAnd last but not least! The trash from the roof work which managed to end up in my garden. It's taken several hours to clean up the mess.nI did call a couple of weeks later, left a message regarding my disappointment and desire for some form of compensation...no response.

Bruce arrived on time, completed the work as planned, and resolved a long-term chimney issue that others were unable to correct. We were very pleased with his service and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
