A quaint little community resource. Wayne is a small town both in terms of size and population so I really wasn’t sure what to expect walking in to this library. The majority of the books in stock seem to be either fiction or children’s books. However, they do have a selection of non-fiction some of which you would be hard pressed to find any where else.nnI walked in looking for a specific book. Never having stepped foot in this building before, I wasn’t sure where to begin. The main level is a single small room so I was quickly able to decipher the fiction from the children’s section. I was unable to locate the non-fiction and historical sections until I realized that the staircase to the downstairs was open to the public. (As a side-note, there is an elevator for wheelchair accessibility to the downstairs). The downstairs is not only where the non-fiction section is but there is also a generous selection of videos. I was unable to locate the book that I was looking for but the staff were super helpful and engaging, knew the exact book that I wanted, and were able to help me locate. There is even a sitting area where I was able to peruse the book before deciding to check it out. One of the most helpful resources is this library has their catalogue online so you can check to see if they carry the book/movie/audiobook you want even without leaving the comfort of you own home.
