Can't ask for a more professional guide than Dickie. First class accommodations! We have been hunting with Dickie for many years and he does not stop until he gets you your bear.Everything about his operation is top notch. This is an annual trip for us and wouldn't miss it for anything!

We have lodged here in 2018 for bird hunting, & 2019 for cow Moose hunt. Lodging accommodations; great. First year we prepared our meals, Moose hunt ate in dining hall. He accommodates a flexible meal plan. Owner, Dick Cullins, guided us for Moose Hunt, he is conscientious, knowledgeable outfitter/ guide. While bird hunting he familiarized us with the area & Moose hunting he actually guided us. We saw moose every day, completed our goal in 3 ½ days on a 6 day hunt. Had a cow tag which is much harder as they can’t be called. Accommodates his clients with meat processing. Dick Cullins is a very personable, family orientated person who makes his family part of his life. We would recommend Blackwater Outfitters for any venues.

I run an outdoor school down the road from Blackwater Outfitters, and have been recommending their cabins to my clients since 2008. They're always clean and comfortable, and my clients rave about them. If you're planning on staying in this part of Maine, Blackwater should be at the top of your list.nnWith regard to Dick as a hunting guide, I think his percentage of return customers and success rates speak for themselves. There are numerous hunting guides around, but very few professionals. Dick is a professional.

Killed the biggest bear of my life awesome dogs great folks 5 stars for me nice cabins it will be on my list for my annual trip.
