Booked a u-haul truck to move from Missouri and wanted to use a storage unit until we got a house. I never ended up moving in because the unit assignment didn't have an access code listed and I couldn't find one online or in my email. No one was onsite to give me an access code, no one answered the phone number google associated with the storage location, and when I called the uhaul storage in south beloit, which was listed as the customer service location, they had no idea about how to help me. Start to finish the experience trying to rent a storage unit was frustrating and no one was helpful. By contrast, I called cube smart down the road and within 20 minutes we had a unit paid for and we're unloading. I will never use uhaul again because everyone I spoke to about the storage unit was grossly incompetent. Congratulations on losing a 26 year old customer who would have otherwise used uhaul for many years.
This is a very clean storage place. One of the best and cleanest I e seen in a while. Highly recommended.
Snow left in front of units after plowing. Had to dig out to get in. No way to communicate with mgr/owner. Poor business.
