The park is nice overall, however the tennis court could use a bit of matinance.

Real big space, nice size park. Lots of space for kids and even a tennis cage also well up kept

Good little spot. Tennis courts volleyball courts and a player for the kids. I usually bring dogs to the tennis courts for training.

Ivanhoe Park is a very nice small park as part of the Bolingbrook Park Districts series of city parks throughout Bolingbrook. There are 2 tennis courts, a sand volley ball court (bring your own net, or it was too early in the spring for them to be up yet), a very nice playground and a shelter with picnic tables. The down sides are there are no toilets and no parking lot. You have to park in the street, but this should not be a problem. But since you have to park in the street, this park is not accessible, as there is not a ramp from the street to the sidewalk within sight of the park. You'd have to go all the way to Moore Dr or Camelot Way to be able to have accessible access to the park.

I walk my dog every morning to this park, and have played tennis on the courts. But sadly, I am rating Ivanhoe 3 stars due to the constant littering which I try to pick up each time I walk through. I understand trash can blow sometimes, but most is blatant, and left on tables, water bottles, wrappers, and now garbage from what I believe, the construction workers across the street as some of it is from their building materials.nThey should at least, do an end of the week clean up of the area.nIt's sad that those who do utilize the park, will also ABUSE the park.nIt's so easy to keep it clean with the recycling and garbage receptacles.
