One of my favorite disc golf courses in the area. Great mix of elevation, long throws, and short technical throws! Watch out for all the trees and make sure you use bright discs on this course!
We visited on a crisp Autumn day. At first, I thought this was a small park because we walked along the west side of the lake to the boardwalk and there was another section where you can picnic. Boardwalk had lots of ducks swimming around and someone showed up with fishing gear. Lots of shade in the South west part with great potential for summer picnics. There's a path that goes along the northern part of the lake and along Eastern edge that takes you up the hill east and down a long flight of stairs. Then it's a scenic walking path that ends at a busy intersection. Turn around and come back. We walked about five miles total and we saw other trails for next time. Stroller friendly for the Western side of the lake, definitely not for the area with the stairs.
Too small to kayak.
Decent park for outdoor jogging. Also pretty good for fishing. Large red fish trout small mouth bass big mouth bass rock bass lots of fish in there. easy to catch
Nice lake. Good for fishing, kayaking and maybe swimming if you like. not that big park but have some nice place to do picnic or have a walk. Limited parking. Place could be crowded. Pretty close location. I’ll be back in winter time. This place is going to be more lovely covered in snow.
