Dr Burton is pleasant & well suited as a dentist as long as you have no implants. He placed a porcelain crown on my right side lower jaw. It began rocking on the implant after maybe two years, & spinning shortly after that. The crown should have lasted much longer. When I tried to talk to him about the crown that was not created to withstand the pressure of a jaw tooth, especially for someone who tends to grit their teeth, he tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with the crown & sell me a bite guard. He wanted to put ANOTHER of the same crown on that tooth!! When I said that I wanted a gold crown, he tried to talk me out of it. He refused to negotiate a discount, given the original crown was not up to the task & he refused. When I went to another dentist, he refused to forward the information needed to replace the crown in question. I now have two gold crowns with which I'm well pleased. I suggest that anyone that is shopping for an implant crown research first before you buy. They are expensive. The doctor's misjudgment cost my husband & I >$1,000.
