Great trails for central IL. Most of the trails are shaded by trees and can be enjoyed by the entire family. There are lots of tree roots, so I would recommend a moutain bike with a front shock.

Mostly wooded, muddy in parts, and not too many views besides when you get to see the Lake. Some trash along the way and no maps were visible to help guide you besides on their website. Definitely recommend downloading the maps beforehand to help. Nice to just get out in the fresh air.
Such a great time went to the fishing tournament. Didn't catch anything but you can rent a motor boat for 30 dollars or a paddle boat for 8. Great for getting out into nature without being to far from home.
Trails are in excellent shape ,other riders are very nice and helpful. Many little features that are well maintained I definitely we will be coming back.
