Great little park with something for everyone. There were tables and benches, garbage bins for trash, a Pavillion shelter area, a baseball field, tennis courts, a basketball court with a little hoop for kids, swings, 2 play areas one big one small for different ages, and lots of space for running around, wide open space. Only negative is lack of parking area.
Six acre park near Fort Sheridan.nTwo baseball fields.nWell-maintained tennis court. Two basketball hoops on the basketball court with bike rack nearby. I noticed at least three handicapped accessible picnic tables, even though some were placed in areas that seemingly aren't handicapped accessible.nThis park has four buckets swings and four regular swings. I like how the swings kind of overlooked the other play areas. There's a sand area.nThere are two large play structures, one geared towards taller children and the second towards younger smaller children.nThe playground was pretty shady for 3 p.m. on a 94°F day.nPictures were taken during the covid19 pandemic. Thats why the playground was tied off.
Beautiful park. Clean, lots to do, lots of space to run around.
Playground, tennis courts, ball field. Nice park. Drinking fountains and bathrooms available.
