Had to ship out hundreds of packages per day and they helped me through the whole process. Even sent daily pick up's at my work place. Very nice people and extremely courteous workers who go above and beyond.
6:45 pm on a Saturday night and still waiting for mail to be delivered! This has been going on for months now. Our mail used to be delivered about 1pm for the last 20 years. I guess those days are gone. Maybe the Post Office should be privatized!
Okay, so I usually don't have to deal with this location because I live in Bartlett but my package was sent here from the CAROL STREAM IL DISTRIBUTION CENTER. It arrived at 5:31am and then at 8:07am I got a package alert: insufficient address.. and its being returned to sender.. it made its way all the way from Florida with no problem but had an issue when it arrived in West Chicago. So I drove 20 mins to this location and then had to argue that my package was there. After awhile they finally locate my package and it was smashed up. The address and everything was perfectly fine. I can understand all these 1 star reviews. I really hope that i don't have to deal with this location and feel bad for anyone who receives mail from them on a constant basis.
I am so disappointed with my mail carrier . My accountables are never attempted there is people in my house everyday .like today I'm sitting in my kitchen when I checked the mail I have a notice 3849 and the mail carrier never knocked or rang my doorbell . I'm also a mail carrier so I know how it works. Very poor customer service.
I had a very pleasant experience in West Chicago post office today. I used the new service of EDDM for the first time, sending out postcards. I did not understand the process correctly and was missing some forms needed for completing my order. Mr John Cather (Postmaster) was incredibly helpful in explaining me the process, helping prepare the postcards to be mailed, even printing me the forms I was missing. We need more people like Mr. Cather in public services, kind and helpful. Thank you!
