I've been working with the Winfield Township road district, especially Mr, John Dusza for a while over some flooding we've experience since moving here. I've found everyone there to be helpful and hardworking. They have gone above and beyond for my family and our home in regards to flooding. It's a nice supersize to see government working for the people in a fast and efficient manner. Thanks John Dusza and everyone at Winfield Township. Much appreciated and I'm very grateful! With 20 minutes notice they tore up my driveway preventing me from being able to enter or exit my home. Fortunately I can work from home so it didn't interfere with my employment. They replaced the culvert under my driveway which was a complete waste of taxpayer money because it was functioning perfectly. Some of my neighbors have clogged culverts (like the one pictured)and the time and resources would have been much better spent replacing something that actually needed it. Then to top it off their backhoe leaked hydraulic fluid all over my street. I'm not sure how they prioritize their work at this highway department but I don't think it's for the taxpaying public's best interest.
