It's just perfectly amazing! I wish there was one in every neighborhood! Surprisingly, the prices are pretty competitive and the deli food tastes like homemade food!!!!ud83cudf57 Some of their items are priced similar to Jewel, but you can still end up saving more money at Mariano's.nnTheir bakery has very excellent prices for the most beautiful customized looking cakes already made up! They even give you a free candle if you ask for one to go with your giant cupcake or cake. My highest recommendations are the bakery department fresh baked giant fancy gourmet cupcakes. They are like 2 or 3 dollars. You can't beat that for a small birthday wish.nnI bring my kids to pick their favorite things and we prepare it in the restaurant area where there is a microwave and sink along with a giant jug of cold iced water mixed with lemons, strawberries or cucumbers free to the customers.nnMy kids are crazy over the deli chicken tenders. We get them in the packaged deli area and they heat them up there for a quick snack or at home for dinner. Add mashed potatoes or mac and cheese and the kids are happy and you have less work. Anything from the deli is amazing. But if you try anything, YOU MUST GET THEIR OLD FASHIONED ROTISSERIE CHICKEN SALAD l, buy some deli croissants, romaine lettuce and your set for a fast delicious lunch on-the-go! If your not sure if how it tastes, they sample everything and they even make the chicken salad sandwich prepackaged for a quick lunch break selection.nnOverall, this is the most gourmet and value you get, all worth the perfect 10 for an awesome grocery store experience.nnThanks Mariano's, for an incredible shopping experience.

Quality of food, customer service, no longer exists @ this location now, some rude very employees, beverages are being opened and placed back on the shelves, considering what's going on employees would be checking shelves while dusting, cleaning. I will share this with family members also, All the Mariano's have gone down in;oaklawn. Now I have to take time to go back to this dump to get my money back damn shame.

I went to the bakery to ask for help with some treats, and I’m usually greeted at other locations by people who are extremely friendly and gracious no matter how busy they are. I’m not a demanding person and I totally understand that everyone is busy, I get it. I went in last week and at the Oak Lawn location the manager appeared to be bothered to have to help me and was beyond unpleasant. While I’ll be more than willing to go to other Mariano’s locations for their wicked awesome cupcakes, I wouldn’t recommend stopping into Oak Lawn’s. Big ol’ bummer with a bad attitude.

Asked for the manager in bakery. Anelle in the bakery was rude she clearly didn't want to be bothered and all I asked was if the bread was fresh and her response was a very rude no we sell old bread here. She needs an attitude check.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Used to shop hear frequently but will now not return. I went to the bakery to get some other cookies and when the table was empty I went to ask one of the bakery workers if there were more, this elderly woman was blowing her nose into a napkin with her work gloves on. She didn't throw the napkin away and just put it on the table with her open cookie boxes. I finally got her attention and asked and she just walked away from me and asked someone else. Is this what gets hired at this store? Absolutely sickening and makes me wonder what the rest of the place is like.
