I have never experienced such rude, childish behavior. It seems to be one person, not the full staff. Eye rolling, head shaking, cutting me off when speaking.... all for a copy of a marriage license. Thanks for taking my magical day and turning it into something I would like to forget. Absolutely reprehensible behavior from a person in need of professional help.

When we first visited, the lady that helped us left in the middle of helping us to go talk and joke with a coworker for a couple minutes. We brushed it off. On my return, the same woman would not accept our license because she said one of the letters in my very common name was illegible and that people would not know how to spell my name. Okay. So we had to have our officiating pastor fill out a request to receive another marriage license to AGAIN fill out. The pastor submitted the request over a month ago. We have not received word at all and we have not received another license to fill out. Rude and extremely delayed service. All calls to the office lead to voicemail boxes that are full. Employees never answer the phone. I am disgusted by the horrible service and don't know what next steps to take to make our marriage official.

Do not use Vital Chek, talk about crooks. Lana at the Rolling Meadows office was extremely helpful and provided excellent service

Waiting over two years + for a name change to go thru!! Took my money, cashed my check and now saying they never received anything!! Ridiculous!
