They will extort you for money if you don't put their sticker on your car which costs $50. You are also required to LICENSE your pets and there's a limit on the amount of pets you can have. It's absolute insanity. They are anti-freedom and want to put restrictions on you living your life peacefully. The Village of Palatine has done nothing good for me. Only ever caused me trouble.

Poor Village. I think the village just being so financially unstable so they start to rob the residents. I moved to this place in June. No one ever told me that a 'village sticker' is required for this small village. If you require one, why not send me a mail notice? Instead, the police office put a ticket on my car at 12:15 AM said that i need to pay for 50 dollars fine since i don't display a village sticker. This is so ridiculous! they don't allow a online payment so i have to pay the stupid fine in person. It is a waste of my time, my money. Totally like a robbery!!!!!!!!no difference.
