Kent Municipal Court

i agree with others that the guards and staff are very nice and polite, might also add the prohbation dept as well. If you havevto ua make sure not to loose your card with color line phone#. not only is it not listed anywhere on their website (even if it worked correctly) but . called in to proh. dept. to ask for number and when i said i dont have a phone i didnt evem have enough time to find a pen before being told the number and hung up on.nni understand they have to deal with bs all day. so i dont think this counts as them being mean maybe just slightly ignorant, considering if i miss a day i go to jail....nnalso it is always PACKED inside court rooms with no where to sit sometimes even stand.nnthe inside of building and by front door are kept pretty clean but definately a old building in need of much repair/remodel. Even some color might help it looks the same as the jail (kinda depressing).

other than the sometimes expected interruptions and repeatedness of them when they were not wanted or needed this was a good first contact. I was unable to find anyone to review events that had transpired for possible filing of charges criminally but the lady was nice enough after I explained the necessity of thoroughness and how as a civil servant she maybe ought try very hard to listen and not to interrupt so often she did well enough after that explanation.

The security guards are always friendly, nice and very helpful. Missed court because I thought it was a different day. Well I went in next day to get a hearing to quash my warrant and I guess prosecutor dropped my case! But still got court for traffic ticket. My 1st time having court for myself. Other times was for someone else. Hopefully my last for myself.

I work for Al'ta Counseling in Tacoma and meaning we have occasional contact with Kent Municipal court employees, either by phone or fax. I gotta say that EVERY TIME I have called with a question, the staff who answer the phone are always incredibly kind, helpful and friendly so with that being said, THANK YOU folks! Kindness wins the game, every time!

In my case i had a commissioner that did not follow state laws and put my grandson in a dangerous place without consideration of family testimony or cps reports didn't even want to see them even though we begged now the 6 year old boy is having severe issue's and i can't even see himnHope to see ya all again in Gods court !!!!nnThanks.
