On the the Cargill dedicated account in Abilene i was expected to work off the clock everyday. Would be scheduled to load at 5 am not get loaded until 9. Then expected to work 14 hours. Next I would be expected to come in at 4 am and load the next day. I was told to log out of the Qualcomm and if anyone asked my dispatcher would say he loaded it. I received no extra pay for this. I reported this to CRST multiple times they didn't care. They can't keep anyone on this account.
Great experience so far, but as in any workplace, there's always room for improvement, and I know they're working hard at it. For me, communication is key! At times, I feel like as if I've been avoided when trying to reach them. It happens in such large companies.
WORKING FOR CRST DEDICATED SERVICES WAS A GREAT ADVANTAGE FOR MY CAREER TRUCK KEPT MOVING WITH OR WITHOUT ME HAVING A STUDENT ONE OF THE BEST OUTFIT THAT I WORKED FOR THAT WAS A SUCCESS THEY KEPT GREAT CARE OF THEIR EQUIPMENT THAT WAS VERY IMPORTANT AND AT FIRST I HAD A SMALL PROBLEM IN REGARDS OF THEM HONORING MY PAY BUT THEN I TOOK IT TO A HIGHER DIVISION AND THEY FIXED THAT PROBLEM AMD NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM AGAIN 1 THING I HAVE LEARNED WITH THE COMPANY YOU CANT TRUST YOUR DM THEY LIE AND PLAY GAMES AND WONT OWN UP TO THEIR OWN RESPONSABILITY
From my personal experience with the company. Like most companies improvement is always an option. I graded a five do to the companies actions to seek improvement.nFrom the levels from dispach, safety, and other drivers; each plays a roll to a good experience.nHometime request are never an issue, but make sure if you need an appointment to allow time to make it.nWhat i think has allowed me a good experience, is the acceptance of feedback within the company.
I drove for CRST Dedicated for 2 yrs. I left because of disagreements with Co-drivers. The management and my driver manager were excellent. Always respectfully and always gave me the benefit of the doubt. I wish I could have stayed with this company.
