They don't even care to pick up the phone. There should be a safe way to send your food stamp application by email? Because of the COVIN19.
The original worker on the phone told me to get paperwork into this office by Friday 8/28 but I didn't mail it on time so I was trying to drop it off. The current worker told me just mail anyway because they mail it to the process center & it would be post marked but I don't understand why you mail it to Linn County DHS if it just gets mail on. I don't know why I couldn't mail it to the processing center.

Understand the rudeness have gave all information to elderly waiver Terry Bader letter addressed to d.h.s Terry Bader came back stating that the information for elderly waiver was non deliverable at the d.h.s office in cedar Rapids. Also when I talked to Terry over the phone she didn't have time to talk to me and she was very rude and she hung up on me not answering all my questions. Called her supervisor left a message asking for a different worker. Have been on this issue for a month now. My husband says she doesn't want to do her job. Actions speak very loudly over the phone. Always on a hurry to go nowhere. And wants t o argue for her way. One day we hope that she is in our shoes. And is treated poorly.
