Thankyou guys for protecting our town just one question hows come you don't park your fire trucks in a fire lane when you go to the store on your breaks
We had recently watched a kids TV show about firefighters and then decided to show the kids the local station (#5 on the SW side). We thought we would just look through the windows to see the fire truck and look at the building. The fire captain and another fire fighter came out to greet my 3 year old twins, told them about the fire truck and what fire fights do, let them look around the fire house, and gave them gifts to remember our trip to the fire station. The kids loved the junior fire fighter stickers they got and could not wait to get home to color in the new coloring books they got from the fire fighters. They took their new stuffed animals to bed with them for nap time. My husband and I were so excited to see how kind our local fire fighters are and that our girls got to meet them. If we ever have a fire emergency, our family knows we will be well taken care of by our wonderful fire department.
I've had the pleasure of speaking with a few members of this department. Where I work security at, I have had a few instances where they were needed on site. The ladies and gentlemen of this department have a fast response time, and very well maintained equipment. The staff with this department is professional looking, and professional acting at all times. Thank you for your service.
