Lied about having a storage and about the price they told me ...
Not bad prices for storage, but you can'tdrive up to your outside unit. You have to go to the gate on the side street, pull in to the single spot (and hope no one is there before you) and load/unload down long, narrow, claustrophobic aisles. Next time I'll pay a little more for something more accessible.
My experience with Global Storage UNM was nothing less than exemplary. I found them to be accommodating and the site to be safe and sound. I lost the keys to my lock and a gentleman staff member helped me open it it and had new locks on hand to purchase. They also have snacks and water for sale which is convenient when moving all day! They have plenty of hand trucks, dollies and a solid loading dock to help with your move.
The traffic at the entrance can be a bit busy during rush hour. After considering other storage in ABQ, I plan to revisit Global very soon.
I used Global Storage for 3 years and twice in 8 months my storage was broken into once in Sept of 2018 and again in May of 2019. They will call you and let you know that your unit was broken into several hours after the incident has occurred or even day. In my case my phone number was changed and it wasn't untill i went to my storage unit that i found out that something had happened you sign a contract saying they are not responsible for your unit being broken into. They will not even replace the lock. They do not care about their tenants or their property. I want to cry when i think about all of the things that were stolen from me at this place. BEWARE THEY HAVE SEVERAL BREAK INS.
The prices are really strange, and the employees are helpful but very unclear on the prices. I thought I was going to be able to get half off on the storage for a couple months but they said its only for 3 months. The hours are very bad, I could never get inside my storage because of how busy I am so the hours clashed.
