Dental Associates of Hampton Cove, Lorrie Green, DMD

It was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist office. I called to make an appointment to have my teeth cleaned, and get a crown on the #30 tooth that another dentist said I needed. I had been putting it off for about a year. That is all I wanted from them. They went way over the top trying to sell me the electric toothbrush they carry. They also told me I grind my teeth, and they wanted to sell me a mouth guard to wear at night. No dentist has ever said I grind my teeth. They also went way over the top taking x-rays. Then they presented me a plan to do $4.473.00 worth of work on my teeth that I did not need. It is obvious they have set sales goals to increase their profits. I told them to just clean my teeth. They said they could not clean my teeth unless I signed up for the everything they recommend. I told them I just want my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist was so mad that I didn’t sign up for what they were pushing on me, she let me gag on my saliva 3 or 4 times during the cleaning process. She never put the saliva suction tool in the right place, and I was gagging on my saliva. I had to pull the saliva tool out 3 or 4 times, and swallow my saliva to stop from gagging. My eyes actually teared up because she was letting me gag so many times. She is the worst hygienist I have ever had. If you look at a previous review where they received a 3 star review the man had the same problem as far as them going way over the top. I can’t believe he was nice enough to give them 3 stars. I have had car salesmen that we’re not as pushy as they were. I went to another dentist to get the crown, and I had no problems with them.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The workers are always so sweet and caring, and just a loving environment! Dr. Green is my main dentist and she does SUCH A FANTASTIC job. You can tell she cares very much about her patients. Her and the staff go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, I recommend everyone that I know to come here!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! :)

My initial visit was for an exam and cleaning. I was very pleased with my entire experience. The front desk ladies were lovely, the hygienist was fantastic, and Dr. Green was great! She was very thorough and discussed everything with me.nI had a cracked front tooth and was able to get another appointment, in a very timely manner, to have it fixed. This visit I had interaction with Dr. Green's assistants and they, too, were just as lovely.nI highly recommend this office!

Dr. Green and her staff are amazing. I get severe anxiety whenever I go to the dentist, but my experiences thus far with Dr. Green have been great! I moved to Oklahoma last year, but before I did, we started the procedure for three implants because she is worth traveling back and forth to Alabama to get them done. She takes the time to explain everything and is very cognizant of your comfort level. I feel completely safe in her chair and that says a lot. The staff are all highly qualified and so friendly. Needless to say, I do highly recommend Dr. Green for quality care.

I love Dr. Green! She does excellent job, and all of the hygienists and staff are so sweet! They recently went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations and the normal standard of care to help me with an urgent situation. Of course when I expressed my gratitude, they responded like this level of care and compassion was normal. As a healthcare provider myself, I can assure you that this is most certainly not the norm! I was treated like family, and cannot say enough wonderful things about this group of ladies!
