I loved the Nativity scene

BEWARE! The CDC at this church is awful. We just moved here and I withdrew my son after only a week because he came home with undocumented bruising to his back and wouldn’t tell me how it happened. The 3 year old’s preschool teacher is absolutely insane and imposed punishments on my son that went well beyond what’s recommended for 3 year olds (time out equal to one minute per year of age, whereas, she would force him to sit out entire activities). The teacher left crazy notes about us needing to force our son to conform to her every demand and noted that he “argued” with staff (he’s 3, he doesn’t know how to argue, anyone who thinks a 3 year old is arguing is plainly ignorant). My son cried, begged, and pleaded not to be left there. They claimed my son had all kinds of behavior issues, when he rarely ever got in trouble at his previous preschool that he’d been at for over 2 years. After withdrawing him from CBC, he’s not had ANY behavior issues at his new school! He’s gotten GREAT reports from his new teacher (who has 20+ years experience, unlike the CBC teacher). In fact, he jumps up ready to go to school in the mornings and talks about it all the time. That’s a stark difference from pleading not to be left at CBC! Now, the CBC Director is refusing to return my son’s official immunization record! Do yourself and your child a favor and steer clear of this place. I will also be making a report to DHR with the pictures, notes, and texts. They’re not licensed by DHR, but can still be investigated for abuse and/or neglect. You never know who you’re leaving your child with, regardless of how good it seems at the outset, and I’m glad I withdrew my son when I did. Yet, I wish he would’ve never experienced this place! Good riddance!

My co worker is the pastor of this church. I enjoy service every time I visit.
