Amazing place

Mod pizza has great pizzas and vibe, and Honey Bear Bakery has very good scrambles and pastries (coffee/ latte is sub-par.) Besides those 2, the rest of the eateries need to step up their games. Young seattle families are moving out of Ballard and Capital Hill (like it or not) and LFP Town Center needs to hit the refresh button STAT or lose all the business to breweries and other up-to-date establishments in Kenmore and Bothell.

The bookstore was the big draw here, but to differentiate from Amazon the offerings are now so political that this is more of a leftist haven than a bookstore. I go in hoping, but I leave with nothing.nnFarmers market is expensive. Ace Hardware is excellent. Mod Pizza good. Excellent Cleaners. Excellent Mud Bay (pet store).

This place is fine if you know specifically where you're going I have a dog and it is not a dog friendly environment so it's really not a good place to go to the farmers market it's not a good place to do your errands there's no grass my dog does not feel comfortable walking around this place and for some reason people are not dog-friendly here. When I first moved here 25 years ago and throughout the years it has been nice it's not as accessible as one would want meaning of the accessibility to the stores there just another weird place in Washington State it's not my favorite place to go I will go there if I have to go to Mud Bay etc. I went there the other day my dog was shaking he didn't want to go out there's no grass it's just a hard place to shop I just think it's weird and quirky an old and outdated things are so different now with pandemic and covid-19. And please let me mention I do have 25 years of going to Third Place Books it's a beautiful book store it's just the place is old outdated crowded it's not dog friendly it's not pet friendly it's just a weird quirky place it was nice a long time ago . And because I am not a Lake Forest Park resident maybe that's why it's fine and it's sweet and it's fine for the neighborhood people it's just changed so much as does everything
