This library is a special gem for Montgomery, WV!nnIt is in a old house, which gives it a 'homey' feel.nnThe rocking chairs on the front porch allow for some outdoor reading, with protection from the weather elements. This is also a great location to sit and read in today's time of social distancing.nnThe staff was nice, professional, and helpful. Gordon has a radio voice, when he answers the phone, I'm instantly reminded of the days of calling a radio station to request a song, and the DJ answered.nnAs a Fayette County taxpayer, I'm glad to see my contributions support a library of this calibur!nnThe catalogue seemed large, but I only briefly browsed it today, during my first visit.nnMy main purpose was to send a fax to my doc. The library has fax and Xerox services for a small fee.nnI plan to return to the library for some relaxing outdoor reading in the bear future!nnBeyond books, there was a small selection of books on CD and movies.nnI saw 2 computers for public use.nnSo glad to see this library in existence, in a small town that some could argue started to die when WV Tech relocated to Beckley.nnIt's a relief that Fayette county officials have kept the concept of a public library alive in Montgomery, WV, as mentoned before, especially a special gem such as this one!
