THE BEST! I am very impressed and grateful that Brad and Rico from the Round Rock store who set me up with an excellent system and a few fantastic monitors. They took the time to get our systems set up and now I have a very happy team all working on their new-to-us computers! I had a wonderful experience with Rico fixing my laptop! It was fast, easy, and I only had to pay for parts. I'm actually writing this review from my laptop that is working like new! He explained everything, step by step, in a simple way that even I could understand. I highly recommend Discount Electronics and I'll be taking all my computers there from here on out.

They will help you any way they can! Went in to get some repairs done on my laptop screen and they were very upfront and honest about the pricing of the repair. I end up declining the repair but they fixed some missing screws I had on the laptop at no cost to me so I appreciated that from them.

First and foremost, I have read through some of the 1 star reviews here. Each and every one of them is the polar opposite of the experience you’ll have here. There’s no way this place, the employees or even the owner could rightfully receive any rating below 4 stars. Which leads me to believe that sometimes, it’s the customer rather than the business. Anyway, 6 stars flying high is what I’d give and that’s the honest truth. RICO! Other employees. The guy who named his dog Lola. All of em are fantastic human beings and even better employees. Long story short, I walked in knowing what I wanted but had no idea how to make that happen or work well. I’ve lost touch with tech and they didn’t just help, they went out of their way. I may have dropped by three or four times sorting out MY OWN mistakes. And they helped. They taught lessons and shared advice. They had good tunes on. I felt welcomed and enjoy calling this place my go to home town shop from now until computers are obsolete. I can’t say enough. Forget the low ratings and change your attitude as an individual. You’ll see. :)

I've been to this quaint shop a handful of times, got a decent monitor for $40, as well as solid advice on a relatively niche problem a few times. Don't go in expecting Fry's* but they just might have that obscure cable or peripheral you've been after for monthsnn*moment of silence for our fallen comrade
