European Wax Center

I’ve been going to European Wax Center for the past two years (primarily during spring & summer).nnFrom the start I’ve had two amazing technicians the first year (sadly they both left when I started going back again). Since late 2020 I’ve been going to random technicians in the Round Rock location and The Triangle location in Austin, which sadly I haven’t found someone I would truly like to stick with yet.nnMy recent experience occurred in the Round Rock. She was friendly and nice (don’t want to name technician for privacy reasons), but the process was the most painful wax I’ve endured, and I can tolerate pain really well. I’ve had plenty of Brazilian waxes, even waxes where I’ve shaved between waxes, which tend to be more painful (in this occasion I had previously shaved a month ago), again I’ve done this in the past, and yes it’s more painful but this time it was the whole process that made it worst.nnIt felt rushed, just “wax pull wax pull”, no breather breaks in between, wax applied 3x over the same area, she pulled twice where it got stuck twice and had to re-pull, (worst pain). Most likely because strip was not fully dried & not ready to be pulled, as the whole experience was done under 7minutes. In which I got there on time, so speediness waxing was unnecessary.nnI personally prefer when my technician takes there time (give me the 15min allocated at least), talks piece by piece, re-assures nerves, after all it is the CARE of the service and EXPERTISE I am paying for. Even my boyfriend is willing to wax me, so I don’t have to endure as much pain since I have all the equipment at home, and I can easily guide him since I pretty much wax everything else myself.nnOverall it varies on the technician, I still have few waxes left which I’ll use at the Austin location, but please look into the technician you’re are assigned to.n1 star techniciann3.5 star location

Several times now the person who was supposed to do my wife's wax did not show up. They claimed they tried to call her this last time to let her know, however they never actually called. They either need to hire someone who can actually show up more often, or they need to do a better job of handling these types of situations

Clean and professional. I invested in their wax pass which saves me a pretty penny for the year! I highly recommend their app- super easy to make appointments.

I went in to get a full Brazilian and luckily was paired with Raven. Raven was incredible and friendly. It had been over a year since I had a wax but she made me super comfortable and kept conversation so I didn’t even notice. Service was fast and very well done ! Can’t wait to see her for my next visit.

I’m always nervous before a wax, no matter how many times I’ve done it. I get the Brazilian and they make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
