Love this studio and all the instructors!! It helps me get an amazing workout in & I always leave feeling empowered. I would recommend this studio to anyone. I have nothing but great things to say about barre3!!
I just saw the news and to tell people it is $30 per class, is outrageous. I may start up and do $30 every 2 weeks, and get a lot of customers. How can you sleep at night charging those prices.nI have 3 businesses and have the lowest prices in the entire Williamson and Travis counties.nAnd very successful.nI don't expect to get rich fast like this business. Crazy.nCriticism only. But, facts.
After a lengthy year, I have decided to share my story, in hopes that this won’t happen to anyone else. When I first started taking classes, I was hooked! Staff & instructors were incredible. The workouts were a complete game changer & I looked forward to each one. Attending 5 to 6 a week. Then I had an unexpected surgery on my leg. The owner (Sarah) kept trying to negotiate what my options were & that they could temporarily put my membership on hold & would ‘work with me’. Long story short, she re-activated my account & kept charging me for months! She NEVER checked on my well being, my healing process, or when I could be medically released to workout. I’m BEYOND disappointed & find it appalling that she didn’t even seem to care. It’s heartbreaking, that in our incredible community, she took our money, with absolutely no regard to my situation or well being. It’s a shame, she’s big on their motto & how it benefits people, but when something happens to you, all the sudden you’re the one that takes the hit. Please beware!!!
Worst customer experience! I signed up for barre3 with a knee injury because I was told that barre was good for knee injuries. But it didn't work for mine, so I asked to cancel. However, I asked only 6 days before my payment was due, and you're supposed to ask at least 7 days in advance (I discovered too late because, of course, it's not made especially public). In addition to all of this, they DO NOT make it easy to cancel. You have to email the studio manager, but she may not get back to you for three days (as in my case) - so the 7-day requirement is literally an arbitrary time frame. When the studio manager finally responded and explained that I would still be charged, she offered to suspend my membership so that I could retain the month I paid for and use it later. I agreed - it seemed like a nice offer. But there's no notification sent out letting you know your membership has reactivated, so I ended up losing all of those days anyway. On top of that, I only discovered this when it charged me account again. So not only did I pay $130 for a month I wasn't able to use, but now I've been charged another $130, when I still can't work out. I reached out to the studio manager yet again, explaining the situation and asking for a refund because the policies and communication was all so unclear (it's like they set you up to fail). She offered to suspend again. Um, are you kidding??? Yeah, that worked SO WELL the first time. I shared that I thought this was a time when you should make an exception because of extenuating circumstances and the company's poor (non-existent) notification policy. She reiterated the suspension offer. She also said she'd worked so hard to make sure I was taken care of and to suspend everything for me in a way that worked for me. Are you kidding?? Your taking care of me ended in my being charged $130 TWICE for a workout I can't even do. That's literally $260 in the trash. And she was so nice as to explain that the 7-day notice has nothing to do with how long it takes her to respond - what does that even mean? I have to give you 7 days notice to cancel, but you may not even start working on it until 3 days later, so you don't actually need the full 7 days? If anyone from the corporate company is reading this, I'd like my money back (although I don't expect that to actually happen). I think she wanted to help, but wasn't actually willing to do what was necessary to make it right for the customer. I would like to note, however, that the actual staff and coaches are extremely helpful and friendly.
This place is awesome! If you haven't tried it you have to give it a shot. The classes are challenging and can be adjusted up or down no matter how fit you are. Guys...don't be fooled, this is a real great workout that will challenge you. All the instructors are great and super motivating.
