My niece signed up for help with Xmas with the Black Jack volunteer fire department. She was told she signed up very early and was told she woukd definitely receive gifts for her baby. When the day arrived she was very excited because she was told there would be a fire truck and Santa arriving to deliver the presents to her baby. They never arrived. Devastated, my niece called to find out what happened. Much to her surprise they told her they didn't have enough gifts to hands out, therefore they couldn't follow through with their promise, even though they said she signed up very early and would definitely get the help she was asking for. Unfortunately my great nephew didn't have Xmas presents to open up in Xmas morning thanks to BJVFD. You people ruined my nephews Xmas. How did you sleep that night knowing you didn't deliver the promises you made to that innocent baby?
I'm very upset because my son and daughter n law asked for help with xmas and were told that they would be bringing a fire truck,with Santa and gifts for my 11month old grand son, and then at the very last minute ,well on Friday they told my daughter n law that there wasn't enough boy toys so there fore he's not gonna have a xmas thanks to the blackjack volunteer fire department. I think they should know exactly what they can or cannot help with and for how many they can help with and take only enough apps for what they have to distribute. Because my daughter n law had been told that they were early enough they would receive something, but instead as a result my grandson is not having a xmas.
