Pacwest Floors

We are a painting contractor. You can find us online in the Seattle area. High-Tech Restoration LLC.nEric with pacwest floors Inc. Hired us to remove wallpaper and paint a doctors office. The amount to paint was declared/paid, The amount to remove wallpaper was declared/paid. But there was an unknown factor of the condition of the drywall (to be painted) behind the wallpaper which was estimated to be charged time and materials due to the unknown. It turned out, the drywall was basic taped only and we spent over 100 man hours mudding, texturing, and priming; bringing the walls previously covered back to life. I originally told eric we needed more time than he allowed. Eric withheld nearly $3000 from our total bill. Be aware of shady contractors that can not conduct time and material charges appropriately to the end customer. I was out extra material costs and labor help. The flooring installed was good and efficient, but I highly advise not using this company for other construction services because they clearly do not understand unforseen circumstances (even when previously explained) of other trades, nor do they take into consideration that their trip to Mexico may put them into a place of a lack to communicate. I sacrificed myself and my team for this project and this company was the worst contractor we have seen. We live by integrity and what is written in estimated quotes, it was a great lesson to collect a signature on the estimate before proceeding with a commercial project with two weeks of notice beforehand.
