Awesome little regional hospital. I can see why they are highly ranked. Easy to work with folks & every nurse we had was very good to great on my wife's care. Used to be Walls Regional when my nephews were born here but now highly accredited Texas Health.

Dropped a glass table on my toe. The nail was hanging off, lots of blood, broken I found out later. After 3 hours walked out. I tried to be patient. After the shock wore off and pain started I tried to get a nurse to help with some ibuprofen and blanket. No one ever came. So I took my vital attachments off, still no one after 45 mins of those machines going off. I was in tears and over it so left and went to a different hospital that got me a wheelchair at the door and done in 1hr and a half.

It is a Rual hospital! So due to federal budget cuts; expect limited care& a long wait! You may do better going to an emergency health clinic.

Was treated so horribly by nurses, to the point I had to check myself out because I wasn’t receiving the care I needed. I Was started on antibiotics and when I decided to leave they didn’t even let me go home with a prescription knowing I needed the meds bad due to what I was diagnosed with. They rushed me out the hospital knowing I needed a ride home with all the unknown meds they were giving me. I had to pull over so many times just to get my mind focused, 15 min ride home turned into almost an hour. I could’ve died. Expected more from them. Night shift weekend nurses were A+ and were the sweetest

I was treated as a drug seeker when I went in with a huge knot on my eyebrow from falling. I'm a bleeder. I didn't ask for ANY pain meds. Was told off the bat they won't prescribe narcotics. I told them I don't need anything for pain because I am on pain management. The Dr's no. 1 thought my cousin hit me. Would not listen. I was bleeding internally. With a history of bleeding ulcers requiring er surgerynI WAS slurring my speech. So, I wasn't really taken seriously. The Dr's don't know how I sound. Once again, my family couldn't be with me for support and I had a concussion and can't remember most of what happened. I'm still having double vision, headache, I'm broken out with an ITP rash. Means I need a transfusion. My platelets dropped from 58 in Dec to 53. I needed help. I still do. I am having memory loss. I also have Rheumatoid arthritis and a ton of other health issues. I went to er thinking I was bleeding to death. Doing what I was told to do by the Dr go to er and be treated . Better safe than sorry . When I do, I'm treated bad because of no health insurance. A friend of mine was treated just as bad.
