Love this school! Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. All the staff know my daughter and seem to know all the kids by heart, which shows they actually care to know each one of their students. They are very good about knowing the parents as well. Any time I need something the front office is very nice and helpful.
All of my kids have attended Lamar, and the teachers are amazing. But can someone please explain to me why the office staff are so freaking horrible? If you don't want to work with kids or parents I'm thinking you are in the wrong line of work. Every single time I go into that office they have the worst attitude and treat me and my husband like scum of the earth, despite the fact that I have been overly nice and respectful. It makes me wonder how they treat our children.
Great school! My 2 girls transfered to this school from D. C. Cannon Elementary in Quinlan. Much better experience at this school then at Cannon!!! I have a 6yo who's Autistic and the special needs staff is WONDERFUL!!! So glad we moved!!!
I LOVED THIS SCHOOL there are amazing teachers i recently attended this school 2 years ago i first entered this school in kindergarten 1st day of school... sure of course i got in trouble from time to time which is normal for a kid there are conflict problems because kids will try to get into fights or start them like any other school i cant say ive ever been in a fight let alone started one but thats only one problem i do agree with the review last year by who ever...some of the teachers have the need for punishing kids harshly.what reason? dont ask me.
